Sutures not only mend tissue; they also weave together memory, pain, and affection. Over the course of nine months recovering from brain tumor surgery, I embroidered a book using threads inherited from my grandmother. In this piece, the act of suturing becomes a gesture of repair. The book brings together poetry, sublimated images from medical scans, and a series of photographs that document my experience from within the fragility of a healing body: some captured by my sister and partner as they assisted me in intimate moments of care, others reflecting my own point of view, an attempt to hold onto what I could still feel. Epicrisis is also an essay about the body.
Elena

Elena

2026 • 10 min • Italy
Elena is a young woman forced to return to live with her father, Remo, a man in the advanced stages of Alzheimer’s disease, with whom she broke off all contact years earlier after a painful argument. The illness slowly erases every memory, making any reconciliation impossible. In a desperate attempt to be remembered, even for a moment, Elena cares for her father in a house that has become empty. Between moments of tenderness and sudden episodes of violence caused by the disease, she searches for a way to rebuild a bond she never truly had. A simple gesture – cooking a dish from the past and taking a photograph together – becomes the last fragile lifeline to love and forgiveness. But time, relentless, arrives before any definitive reconciliation can take place. All that remains is a photo: a single shot that contains everything that could not be said in time. “Elena” reflects on how we often only understand the value of the people around us when it is already too late.
MOVEMENT I - DISCIPLE: EPISODE I OF THE HARMONY SAGA

MOVEMENT I - DISCIPLE: EPISODE I OF THE HARMONY SAGA

2026 • 41 min • United States
UPDATE: 01/13/2036 Just finished compiling the totality of the Prologue, Act I, and ACT II of Disciple. I united them, and due to file size limitations, am forced to only link the YouTube link. The master file is in 4K and 60 FPS. The current length is over 41 minutes long. I decided to update this project with the entirety now, that audiences and juries would have the most immersive and complete vision to date. ACT I is already a globally award-winning film in its own right, with over a dozen individual category wins and selections. The screenplays for The Harmony Saga have over 25 Global awards and selections themselves. END UPDATE --- I created this film, from the first idea to the final posting on YouTube and socials, in under 6 hours. I used publicly available AI generative software available in the Playstore. The key compositor for the basic graphic design was Canva Pro AI Generator, Runway ML, and KlingAI. The rendering into video was all done with KlingAI. The editing and sequencing was all done utilizing the NLE on Wandaview Filmora Go. They have a very intuitive and easy to use setup for their NLE. Through Filmora, i was able to get creator access to Universal Creative, and their fantastic variety of music and songs (virtually unlimited at this point). After spending time searching through songs of the desired genre, I fell in love with the song that plays throughout. One of the best aspects of Filmora's resources is nearly limitless modulation of all aspects of any clip, text, or sound. The song i chose was originally only just over 3 minutes long, so I modulated it to be slower by 0.7/1.0 speed. The result was magnificent. I used, in the AI generative processors hard physics, both classical and quantum, as well as neurological science, mathematical and binary number theory, gravitational keywords, laser lightning display LED technology theory, numerology, symbology, pythagorean and euclidean and Chinese geometric laws, thermodynamics, historical references, anthropology, geology, bioluminescence, chemistry, Relativity, calculus, differential equations, global cross cultural theology, and ancient and gnostic texts on mysticism, as well as alchemy and hermeneutics. I used sonic theory and Harmonics as well. I used linear folding to design the narrative according to silent film theorem, as well as incorporating elements found throughout classical film and narrative and literary theories, such as Campbell's "Hero's/Heroine's Journey" and Bazin's "Ontology of the Photographic Image." I also incorporated movement arts, such as modern and avant-garde and ballet dance styles and applied those to the light geometries and fractal recursion of the nebula. I also made it seamless (with transitions) to help engender the most immersive experience I could. I only used a cell phone to do all the work, a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra from 2025 (February + ongoing UX/OS updates) I paid $7.99 for access to Universal Creative, one time fees of $$19.99 on KlingAI, as well as already purchased subscriptions to the various platforms (Filmora = $64.99/year, KlingAI = $9.99/month, Canva Pro = $9.99, Runway ML = $9.99/month, AIReel: under $60/year), making out of pocket additions for this project <$30.00 USD. This is the story of Samantha Sacre (Sam) and Maxen (Max) following where ACT I - DISCIPLE: EPISODE I OF THE HARMONY SAGA left off. It uses no dialogue, simply visuals and sonic vibrations and musical resonance to convey emotion, guide the narrative, and tell the story. I wanted to experiment with a wide variety of art styles, from photorealistic to CGI/VFX to Anime (Toei + BONES vein) and a few others. It is designed to be a mammetic organic immersive experience. It was developed as a promotional piece for The Harmony Saga. The results were fantastic, and there has been a lot of support and outreach on socials, and I find myself enjoying it immensely, so I figured so as not to sideline an artistic success, I would also turn it into a project, that various festivals may enjoy it as well.

THE DOCTOR OF SOULS

THE DOCTOR OF SOULS

2025 • 54 min • Italy
The Doctor of Souls recounts the last twelve years of the Camillian priest Father Pietro Santoro's mission in the church of Santa Ninfa in Palermo, through authentic testimonies, evocative images, and an intimate narrative. Gifted with charisms and supernatural gifts, devoted to confession and the needy, he was tireless: he welcomed penitents even at two in the afternoon, in the sultry summer city of Palermo, and kept the church open at all hours, devoting his life in silence for others. The bond with Padre Pio, present throughout his life, emerges in surprising episodes: in a dream, the friar himself called him "his continuator." After his death, in the forty-seven days that followed, signs, graces, and a mysterious testimony multiply: a woman claims to have been confessed by him... a month after his passing. Not a complete biography, but a spiritual journey through humanity, mystery, and faith, which questions the viewer and leaves room for silence.
