In the 1960s, Beatriz lives under the watchful eye of a strict father, finding solace only in her sister, Joana, who tries to ease the tense atmosphere at home. Trapped in the daily routine of her father's small country store, she seeks refuge in the fantasy of radio soap operas. Her world, however, is turned upside down when mysterious, anonymous poems begin to arrive hidden inside sacks of coffee. As poetry invades her life, awakening desires and revealing secrets, Beatriz is forced to confront the limitations of her universe and make choices that could rewrite her own story
