'Highly-transmissible and deadly' is how the Coronavirus was described. We were in a pandemic. People were coughing and losing their senses of taste and smell and were dying. And still, through all of the chaos and hysteria, life goes on. Roommates Chris, Ashley, Becca and Tony have to go out in public...they are out of supplies and need to make a run to the store...during a pandemic in which the virus is 'highly-transmissible and deadly'. All are healthy - so far - and which to remain as such. Each, in their own way, are actually in love with living so death is not an option. Still, they have to go to the store. "The Store (A Covid-19 Comedy)" introduces the four roommates and their unique way of 'shopping' during the pandemic. Many of us simply make 'shopping lists' to work off of, these four take grocery shopping a bit more seriously than many of us. Their plan is 'to attack, divide and conquer'. Each has a responsibility; each has a 'mission' to complete. Though the Coronavirus pandemic is a very serious health situation that is currently being controlled, it's the individual psychology of some during this time that contains hilarity, wonder, and intrigue. Enter Chris, Ashley, Becca, and Tony.

A desert city in the middle of the Western Sahara: the camp “February 27th”. Initially created as a makeshift solution, it has turned into a permanent settlement since the Moroccan annexation in 1976. For 42years, around 210.000 Saharawi have been living in camps like this in the Algerian desert, waiting for a referendum on independence. Beyond the understanding of the political crisis, this film gives access to the daily life in the middle of the desert and refugees who resist while waiting to return to their country. Slowly, the camera approachesthis place and its history in various scenes: women tell the story of how they sew the first tents from their clothes, a camel is being loaded onto a pick-up, atea ceremony. With a very sensitive and respectful approach, the viewer isinvited to discover a sense of resilience and resistance inscribed in the static testimony of women evoking memories and hopes of returning home.“February 27th” shows the life in a temporary existence that evolved into a permanent home against people’s will and to this day symbolizes their resistance and resilience.February 27th premiered at the „Duisburger Filmwoche“ in 2018 and was screened atlocal andinternational filmfestivals including „Dokfest“(Munich), „Diagonale Festival of Austrian Film“(Graz, Austria) and„West Europe International Filmfestival“ (Brussels, Belgium). "Aeterna" is an evocative essay on the concept of beauty. Presented in a unique diptych format, it delves into the life of an actress, offering a poignant biographical exploration. The story skillfully exposes the psychological duality that exists between her authentic self and the facade she maintains for society. This compelling journey is narrated through the eyes of a teenager, who theatrically embodies every stage of the actress's life journey—from her early foray into the world of glamour to her descent into elderliness. Central to this narrative is the symbolic mask worn by the actress, representing her reliance on makeup and plastic surgery as futile attempts to preserve her youth. This mask evolves into a profound metaphor, illustrating her struggle to break free from the crushing societal pressures and her own preoccupation with outer beauty. The story of "Aeterna" stands as a haunting reminder of the importance of self-acceptance and the ephemeral nature of physical beauty, urging the audience to reflect on the true essence of what makes us beautiful.
