Over twists, presses, and wash-and-goes, filmmaker Cheryl Dunye joins other clients and hairstylist DiAna DiAna in her South Carolina salon to discuss the current impact of AIDS on Blacks in the south, and what has changed and stayed the same since DiAna was featured in a seminal short video by Ellen Spiro thirty years ago. Commissioned by Visual AIDS in 2017 as part of ALTERNATE ENDINGS, RADICAL BEGINNINGS, a program of seven videos prioritizing Black narratives within the ongoing AIDS epidemic curated by Erin Christovale and Vivian Crockett.

Cavy World Cup is an optimistic, slightly absurdist tragic-comedy about a wondrous world. Kiki works at a cavy-groomer and is busy preparing for the world championship for the most beautiful cavy: the Cavy World Cup. Sven, the fishmonger across the street, sells fish to eat, which Kiki does not like at all. But, when all of a sudden the lights go out and the hairdryers no longer work, she has no choice but to let go of her tight schedule. Will she be able to win the World Cup, or will love win her over?

The idea of romance slowly fades into the memory of an older generation. This is where we find Nicole, trying figure out her current relationship and why it's not working.

It is a film about how a small house in a back yard in Hasseris outside Aalborg came to be the epicentre of Danish rock music. The film tells the story of how founder Jørgen Bornefeldt created a unique space where inspiration and music could flow freely. Spectator Records was the hotbed of Danish rock music and we have never looked back since. It was a honey pot of bubbling and sizzling creativity, which unfortunately went up in smoke. For many years, no one knew what happened – and conspiracy theories about why the studio burned, lived merrily among its aficionados – but now we know. The story of 'Spectator Records – Up in Smoke' is the original hippie history that has never been told. About an explosive release of wild energy that forever changed the music and the people who came near Jørgen and Spectator Records.
