An ordinary man begins an unexpected journey into the abyss of his own consciousness, the same one of the social collectivity he represents.

Beside him in this journey there will be a family of simple people. Linked to their land and to the healthy and genuine traditions of the Italian countryside. Father and son, representative examples of a real and bleak world, will remove his every social construct, leaving him face to face with his most real self. Maria, daughter and sister, ghostly woman, treated no better than a dog but ready to rebel to avoid being a scarecrow. Or maybe not?

In the fog, judge and executioner, guilty and innocent, may very well intertwined.
