An ordinary taxi driver has his life turned upside down by taking a special ride with an elegant old lady. Henk an absent-minded, rude taxi driver in Rotterdam just does his job. His sober and often aggressive temper often makes the world too small. His children do not want to know anything about him any more, his wife has since divorced him, in short, he feels life has it in for him. On an ordinary Saturday morning he is working his fares.
