Synopsis
The Sea of Dreams is a film about climbing and the life behind it. Two Slovenian climbers, Miha Praprotnik and Janez Jeglič, were the first to climb the route called Sea of Dreams – El Capitan, USA, in pure Alpine style for which they required only six and a half days. The film shows their adventure, extensive preparations and intensive friendship. However, on the other side of this great sporting success is their personal life – while Janez is blessed with powerful family bonds, Miha’s long relationship with Andrejka comes to an end. Climbing, life and love, mixed with their dreams, wishes and hopes, makes the message of the film unique: that dreams and life are one.
