The Latin phrase: "Et in Arcadia ego" (I am/was in Arcadia, too) refers to Sophie’s memory of her ex-boyfriend, who disappeared one morning without a trace. This motive runs consistently through this short film, written and realized within 90 hours, including its morbid color-grading. A second starting point of this thriller was the definition of suction as "behind a moving object sucking flow in air or water" which was used as a logline. The focus was on the thesis that memories of places settle, sometimes buried deep and reappear a long time later. An underworld visit with a doppelganger motif, the nostalgic island becomes the site of a woman's decision between two men.
