During the COVID-19 lockdown of 2020, eight women were challenged to find the heart of Lilac, a novelist deep in the throes of writer's block. Each woman received only the final five second of the previous filmmaker's contribution, from which they were to continue on as Lilac, contributing to her story and unaware of what the other women had created. Each woman created their piece on the style and genre of their choosing using only their cell phone and available light to shoot up to two minutes of footage. This is their Lilac and the story they evolved.
