Filmed in the serene potters’ village of Theekarda, near Bundi, Rajasthan, Kathe Gayo unfolds through evocative visuals of everyday life. The short film follows siblings Meera and Kabir as they set out on a search when Chotu goes missing. Their journey through winding lanes, open fields, and hidden corners becomes an adventure woven with worry, hope, and the tender bond of childhood. The suspense is who is Chotu whom they search so intensely.
The film suggests that what we seek in the outside world ultimately resides within ourselves.
