In an academy that trains angels, students must pass the priest’s trials and obtain a “star-shaped badge” in order to embark on the path to Heaven. The protagonist fails repeatedly, gradually losing confidence and beginning to doubt their own self-worth.

In the end, they are assigned a mission on Earth—to retrieve a lost treasure. In a village, they face rejection and indifference, but also meet a kind elderly woman by the sea, where they experience understanding and acceptance for the first time.

As the mission progresses, they work in a bakery and gradually integrate into human society, learning to build connections through giving. When the mission is completed and the gates of Heaven open once again, they must choose between their former longing or the sense of belonging they have found in the present.
