Synopsis
Lessinia, North Italy, 1903. Andrea Piccoli, known as “Il Rosso”, leaves his birthplace in the Morandini district of Erbezzo to go and work in the coal mines of Ohio in America. He opens the way for other people from the village who will join him in the following years. True stories of emigration full of desire and hope for a better life, which make us think about the complexity of migrations in our times.
