"Il mio canto è memoria" (My Song is Memory) tells the story of the Vajont tragedy and life in the village of Casso through a unique perspective: the oral memory of women's singing. Produced in collaboration with the Società Filologica Friulana, Associazione Gottardo Tomat, and the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, the film weaves together intimate testimonies from local residents — many breaking decades of silence — with visceral aerial shots through the village alleyways and over the dam. An intimate and powerful work in which singing traditions become an act of resistance, healing, and preservation of community identity.
