Synopsis
Guan Ling is a 5.5-minute 2D Computer combining Taiwanese folk culture with the aesthetics of shadow puppetry. The story follows the protagonist, Ah-De, who deeply misses his late grandmother. Guided by a temple priest, he enters the underworld for a “visiting-the-deceased” ritual. Within the time of a single incense stick’s burn, paper effigies lead Ah-De through the mysterious spirit realm, reuniting him with his grandmother—only to be separated once again as time runs out.
