Elena is a young woman forced to return to live with her father, Remo, a man in the advanced stages of Alzheimer’s disease, with whom she broke off all contact years earlier after a painful argument. The illness slowly erases every memory, making any reconciliation impossible.

In a desperate attempt to be remembered, even for a moment, Elena cares for her father in a house that has become empty. Between moments of tenderness and sudden episodes of violence caused by the disease, she searches for a way to rebuild a bond she never truly had.

A simple gesture – cooking a dish from the past and taking a photograph together – becomes the last fragile lifeline to love and forgiveness. But time, relentless, arrives before any definitive reconciliation can take place. All that remains is a photo: a single shot that contains everything that could not be said in time.
