Synopsis
There’s a moment between 27 and 30 years old in everyone’s life where shit gets real. Whatever idea you had of adulthood crashes and burns and Life (with a capital L) stares at you in the face, challenging you.

“What are you made of, punk?”

This time period confronts us and forces us to look unflinchingly at ourselves in the mirror.

It dares us to detangle what we’ve been taught by our parents and choose a more assertive, deliberate, savage version of adulthood.

Cue: Savage Season.

Inspired by a true story, Gia, a relationship junkie, ends things
with her long-term partner of seven years and finds herself
alone and lost in a late-night corner store, tortured by her own
thoughts. Ambushed by her friends, Gia is challenged to
dream bigger and awaken from autopilot before her 30th
birthday.

This 15 minute short film is about mental health, reclaiming your inner child, burning down everything that comes with “adult autopilot,” and reinventing yourself. It explores the
intimacy that happens when you let your friends witness you
as you’re falling apart. Tonally, think the grounded
surrealism of "I May Destroy You," with the splashy-friendship-
physical comedy of "Girls Trip."
