Dan (32) & James (a better looking 32) are much more then roommates: they're “Time Pals”. These two losers are three months late on the rent and looking at imminent eviction. When Dan's rich Uncle Karl dies and leaves them a working 'Time Pad', they hatch a crazy plan: they'll travel back in time and deliver a stock tip to their past selves so they can invest and be rich enough to afford rent in the present.

The Time Pad comes with only one rule: avoid contact with yourself at all costs! However, when Dan goes missing in the past, James goes searching for him only to find that he's broken the one rule in a big way. Hi-jinx ensues as the two scramble to make things right.
