However, let's try to focus on a particular age of the human being: the fifties.
What is the state of mind of a fifty-year-old?
How does he see things?
What is the world that surrounds him, with its thousands of clichés, foibles, urgencies and contradictions?

M. answers in an unequivocal way: his is a black and white world, surreal, with no props, but rich in sounds and environmental effects, in which the spectator becomes co-protagonist, completing with his fantasy the reality that M. suggests.

His tactic, as it will be well understood, is that of irony, of sharp humor, of the disillusionment of age. But without ever giving in to cynicism or vulgarity and with the comic timing of silent cinema.
A leap backwards to find a new way of communication.

M. speaks Italian, but his language is universal.

In this short film we wanted to link several short sketches in order to create a story telling for anyone who wants to identify with M., at any moment of his day, or his life.

M. doesn't offer solutions, doesn't have salvific recipes, he doesn't propose a moral or impose judgments.

To conclude:
life is often an ugly battle... but smiling, after all, is our most powerful weapon of protection.
