Vicky Meldew Teaches Acting is a short comedy film that pokes fun at the rising Online Masterclass industry which tugs on the heart strings of dreamers everywhere. In the world of Online Masterclasses everyone is an expert and there is always fast cash to be made giving advice, even when you aren't qualified to do so…and Vicky Meldew definitely is not. But everyone deserves their own 15 minutes of fame, right?

This film was made in isolation during Britain’s third Covid-19 lockdown. Written and directed from London by Pardeep Sahota whilst being shot and acted on location in Kolkata, India by filmmaking entrepreneur Gora Chanda Saha. Gora works internationally in the film industry despite never leaving his home town, thanks to his green screen. This film was made entirely whilst Britain was in it's third government lockdown. Looking for a creative outlet these artists connected over the internet and this production was able to span 4,944 miles in order to get made. A hard fought victory, just like the dreamers who dare to dream.
