ICOLA is a documentary about young children who are homeless in Los Angeles. We learn about their daily lives, how they feel about being homeless, their hopes and dreams for the future and what they love and don't like in their lives. This personal intimate view of the children's stories is interwoven with legislators, homeless advocates and a social worker who tell us the systemic reasons for homelessness, what is being done and what needs to be done to irradicate this horrific tragedy.
