Against a folky guitar soundtrack, Alex, a 25-year-old musician, dreams of going far, far away. Ever since his mother’s death, he’s watched over his distraught father, Denis, while also caring for his younger brother, Lucas, whose reckless behavior continuously puts himself in danger.
One evening, Alex discovers an abandoned VW van as well as its peculiar owner, Peter, an elderly hippie straight out of Woodstock.
With his help, the two brothers make it their mission to repair the minibus and hit the road to escape their hometown.
